Short Term Dock Rental – Pilot Application Short-Term Dock Rental Pilot Application Short Term Dock Space Rental Fees: Rental is for the use of mooring a watercraft. While other activities are allowed at the dock, while rented, it must include mooring of a watercraft at this space during the rental. Rental begins Monday at 12pm and ends the following Monday at 8am. $50 to reserve a 1-week rental. $200 security deposit to cover any damage and/or as a late removal fee if watercraft is not removed before 8am on Monday. Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be made 30 days prior to rental date, to receive deposit refund. This Permit shall be construed as a temporary revocable license. This Permit is immediately revocable at the sole discretion of the WLIC, its directors, employees and/or authorized agents, upon notice to the Licensee and/or any guests. The $50.00 reservation fee is not refundable, even if the Permit is revoked. In consideration of the issuance of this Permit (even if later revoked), Licensee promises, agrees and undertakes (said terms to survive the conclusion of this Permit) as follows: 1. At ALL times guests are present, the Licensee MUST BE PHYSICALLY PRESENT AT THE DOCK, AND MUST HAVE THIS PERMIT WITH THEM. Licensee is responsible for the proper conduct of all guests, adherence to all WLIC Rules and Regulations, AND THE CONDITION OF WLIC PROPERTY. 2. Licensee agrees that Licensee and all attendees will comply with all Federal, State and Local laws and ordinances, and that no alcohol or marijuana shall be consumed by minors on WLIC property. Licensee hereby assumes all responsibility associated with Licensee's conduct and the conduct of Licensee's guests and any and all liability for any type of injury or damage. Licensee hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold the WLIC harmless from any and all claims arising from or related to this Permit and/or licensee’s (or guests) occupancy or use of WLIC property, or any other activity related to or arising from use of the WLIC property, including a reasonable attorney fee and costs in the event the WLIC elects to engage its own counsel to either monitor or conduct a defense on its own behalf. Licensee waives any right to a trial by jury. 3. Licensee hereby assumes all responsibility for the WLIC Short Term Rental Dock and for the conduct of Licensee and Licensee’s guests, including but not limited to liability to the WLIC for damage sustained by WLIC for any reason, any damage to the dock or WLIC property, and for any damage or liability arising from or to any Licensee or any guest of Licensee. 4. Licensee has inspected the WLIC Dock and accepts the condition. Licensee waives any and all claim(s) whatsoever related to the condition of the dock or the payment(s) made to the WLIC. Licensee waives any right to refund, and waives any claim of warranty, express or implied, by the WLIC. 5. The terms contained on the reverse side are incorporated herein and are binding upon Licensee. 6. Licensee understands that the docking of their boat needs to be done within the reserved time above. Boats must be removed from the dock prior to 8am on the Monday of check-out. 7. Do not leave any boat trailers in the parking lot. Boats must be launched in the water, and then trailers returned to their storage location. 8. All boats and other watercraft stored at the dock used must be WLIC approved with current permit and Block/LotID stickers visible at all times. 9. No multiple water-craft tie-ups at the dock. One boat per slip 10. No items stored on dock overnight (kayaks, water toys, etc.). Dock must remain clear so that the other side can use it without hinderance. 11. All ropes must be in good condition and tied using standard nautical knots. 12. WLIC not responsible for watercraft damage, including damages due to weather. Boat owner will supply bumpers as they are different for each type of boat. 13. Unless part of a permanent fixture, biminis must be lowered at night. 14. The lake/dock is subject to constantly changing conditions, which are outside the control of the WLIC. All use of the lake, dock and WLIC property is at your own risk. Algae removal or other space maintenance will be treated the same as all Access Area Spaces (all Members can submit a plan for maintenance to be reviewed by the WLIC before completed).
